Questions about official Madison County criminal records belong with the office that created or keeps the record. The contacts below route court files to the correct clerk, sheriff records to Madison County officials, police reports to Jackson Central Records, and statewide criminal-history requests to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. This private resource does not receive or process government record requests.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

The Sheriff's Office does not publish a separately named records division or a dedicated online request portal. Call 731-423-6000 first, describe the exact record, and ask where a written Tennessee Public Records Act request should be delivered.
